Sheldon Heath host England training session.

King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy recently hosted training for the England Women’s Netball team. A group of lucky students were not only able to witness training by an elite group of Netball players but they were also privileged to get autographs from some of the players.

A group of students later went on to watch the team who were playing the third of the three match Vitality Netball International Series against Malawi at the Genting Arena on 29th November.

The England team known as the “Roses” used these games as preparations for the 2018 Commonwealth Games as their hunt for gold intensifies.

The Malawi “Queens”, currently ranked sixth in the official INF world rankings are always real crowd pleasers with their flair, energy and passion.

The match ended England 62 v Malawi 60 and some of the students from Sheldon Heath were courtside to witness a thrilling game! England beat Malawi 66 -60 in the first game and 61-53 in the second match.
