Denis Ramplin, Director of Marketing and Communications

After obtaining a degree in Communication Design, Denis worked in several advertising and marketing agencies in Birmingham before setting up a Full-Service Agency incorporating Sales Promotion, Design, Marketing and PR with three other colleagues.  Denis went on to set up other successful agencies, each employing up to 45 staff and with a FTSE 100 client list.

Denis is currently responsible for Marketing & Communications and is working on projects that address awareness, accessibility and affordability whilst raising the profile of the organisation. In addition to reviewing the organisation’s brand, Denis has also worked on developing an outreach programme which has seen high attaining disadvantaged pupil premium children being offered opportunities at our selective schools. 20% of disadvantaged pupil premium children now have opportunities to go to their local selective schools. Seven years ago, this was approximately 4.5%.
