Clerk to the Local Governing Bodies

We are looking to appoint a Local Governing Body Clerk, to support two schools within King Edward VI Academy Trust on a flexible part-time basis. The Clerk will support the Company Secretarial Assistant within a wider professional team. The positions involve working from home, alongside attending daytime and evening meetings, working closely with the allocated schools.
We are looking for a Clerk who has exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as a team, with high attention to detail, discretion, and an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality. This pivotal role requires proactive engagement, flexibility, professionalism and strong commitment.

General Assistant in School Kitchen

Duties include assisting with the preparation of food, serving students, cleaning the dining hall, moving dining furniture, till operator, washing up, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

Previous experience desirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake the Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training.

As a Site Security Officer, you will work as part of the Facilities Management team and will be integral to maintaining a safe environment for staff, students and our external lettings, particularly at the weekend. Caretaker

The school is seeking to appoint a full time Caretaker to join our busy site team starting in January 2020.
