Here you can learn more about ‘Modes of Transport’

In this unit you will learn about different types of transport, so lots of new vocabulary!

You will also be able to say what transport you use to get to different places, for example ‘I get on the bus to school’ or ‘I go on the train to London’.

You will be thinking carefully about how French words are pronounced and trying to sound as ‘French’ as possible!

How many of the words in the PowerPoint do you already know?

Tips for Success!

Remember that every time you learn a new word (a noun), learn the gender too, so is it masculine or feminine? In the dictionary you will see nm next to a masculine noun and nf next to a feminine noun. For example ‘voiture’ (nf) means ‘car’ and it is a noun and it is a feminine noun. Use your French dictionary to see if you can find words for modes of transport in French and whether they are masculine or feminine nouns.
