Phrases

In this section you will be looking at 2 verbs (doing words) that we use in French when we are describing how we get to different places and what modes of transport we use.

These verbs are ‘prendre’ which means ‘to take’ and ‘aller’ which means ‘to go’.

Tips for Success!

It’s a good idea to learn a new verb when you come across it. There are lots of ways you can do this! Try different ones out and see what works for you!

You might want to use the ‘write’ ‘cover’ and ‘check’ method.

You can record yourself pronouncing these new words and listen back.

You could use post it notes and learn a part of a verb every day, for example, je prends = I take
