Healthy Living

Keeping your body fit and healthy is very important. There are three things you can do:

1. Eat the Right Food

Foods contain nutrients which are needed by our bodies. These are:

Carbohydrate (including sugars)




Eating the right amount of each is called a balanced diet. Eating too many sugars and fats andnot enough fibre can cause health problems. See the picture to the left for some ideas on the right amount of different foods to eat.

2. Exercise Regularly

Exercise strengthens the circulatory system keeping the heart healthy. It can also use up the energy supplied by food to prevent your body getting too fat.

3. Avoid Health Risks
