King Edward VI High School for Girls Outreach

Outreach is the range of support we offer for girls and teachers at primary schools in the city. We run master classes and workshops across many subjects which we and our primary school partners believe challenge their brightest pupils and raise their levels of aspiration. We also offer masterclasses in maths, chemistry, Spanish and French for GCSE and A level students and their teachers.

We also carry Teaching School status–which entitles us to lead the training and professional development of staff. The teaching school initiative focuses on school-centred training and development.
